Midnight in Montmartre

Midnight in Montmartre

An intimate editorial experience where cobblestone streets of Montmartre, Paris, meet 500 year old craft.

We juxtapose the heavy, permanent stone paths of Paris’s most famous hill with the gossamer-light structure of Galle’s hand-woven bobbin lace.

This editorial tracks a creative exchange spanning oceans: the timeless, bohemian silhouette of Montmartre wrapped in the painstaking geometry of Beeralu.

Every loop and pattern represents a lifetime of discipline passed down through generations of Sri Lankan women. Raw Parisian granite meets the soft, flawless precision of a coastal trade, proving that true heritage knows no borders.

A celebration of slow fashion, masculine sensuality, and alchemical romance.

Heritage Meets AvantGarde

The silhouette commands attention by playing with the boundaries of coverage and exposure.

At its center is a dramatic, structural bib meticulously crafted from handwoven bobbin lace—an exquisite nod to traditional heritage techniques, reimagined as a fluid, dark veil across the skin.In sharp, calculated contrast, the lower silhouette features high-volume quilted trousers that ground the look in dramatic opulence.

Designed to capture and reflect the ambient glow of the Parisian night, these structural pants are consciously constructed entirely from premium deadstock metallic textile.

It is a striking celebration of slow fashion, masculine sensuality, and alchemical romance.

The Craftsmanship Details

The Bobbin Lace Bib: 100% handwoven couture textile utilizing a labor-intensive, centuries-old bobbin lace technique.

The Quilted Pant: Sculptural, high-shine quilting engineered entirely from rescued luxury deadstock fabric.

The Silhouette: Fluid open-back construction with delicate string tie-fastenings to contrast against the heavy metallic structure.

Sustainability: Proudly utilizing zero-waste deadstock textiles and yarn to breathe new life into discarded materials.
